Communicate Speech Therapists Suffolk

Using LEGO®- Based Therapy to Support Language Development

LEGO® Therapy was created by psychologist Daniel LeGoff, and established as a group intervention to promote social competence in children with autism and related conditions.

This half day course looks at how the structure of LEGO® Therapy can be differentiated to meet the needs of a wide range of communication needs.

Learners will have a brief introduction to the origins, aims and benefits of LEGO® Therapy, before working through a number of practical tasks that show the diversity of using these popular building blocks to support all areas of speech, language and communication skills.
